"In nearly 30 years of pool ownership, I’ve tried a LOT of gadgets to clean filter cartridges. This is by far the best I’ve found, doing a great job as the before-and-after photo shows. You want to stand the cartridge on end and, working top-to-bottom, first work the nozzle “fingers” between the pleats. Next hold the nozzle about an inch from the cartridge and clean the filters as if using a conventional spray nozzle. Flip the cartridge to the other end and repeat the process.
